What needed to be done?
Our brief was clear. It wasn’t just about putting the region back on the consideration list – it was about putting bums in beds. We needed to be an alternative to Bali or Fiji and convince interstate and intrastate visitors to head north instead of overseas.
How we did it
We developed both creative and media campaigns so our target market would see the area through a different set of sunglasses. It was about lots more than the expected reef and rainforest stories. We showed the real breadth of the region and the many adventures waiting for you – however, you define adventure.
Our meticulously placed digital messaging promised unforgettable experiences, accommodation and tours. The channels chosen allowed us to strike the balance between awareness, consideration and conversion.
