There’s no Ekka, but the sideshow must go on
As the border becomes a fortress wall again and we feel for our families, friends and colleagues in Victoria, it’s more important than ever to remain optimistic, keep our priorities straight and, most of all, look out for each other.
Just like almost every business, the team at Nick Did This are learning how to adapt to this new world and find different, clever and relevant ways to help our clients however we can. That means looking for opportunities, thinking different and keeping our minds open. So, while there’s no Ekka, no music festivals and no quick weekend away to Sydney, there is eternal optimism and our radar is up searching for opportunities, small rays of light and definitely a laugh or two.
All dressed up in Naudic
We’ve been wrapped up with excitement as we’ve recently welcomed the fabulous Brisbane-based fashion label Naudic to the NDT fam. Since 2008, Naudic’s creator Emma Puttick has been combining her two great loves of fashion and travel to bring beautiful bohemian style creations to life.
As we slip into the warmer seasons, we’re super excited to help run all of Naudic’s social media and email marketing campaigns. And we’ve already been eyeing off a few gorgeous pieces to wear by the pool!
If you want to go from hum ho to boho, hit up Naudic’s websiteand, while you’re at it, sign up to their newsletter for weekly deals and deets. Trés chic!
We’re always on the money
While we’re a bunch of right-brained, artistic creative thinkers, we have a successful track record when it comes to working with left-brained, analytical financial services. Maybe it’s a case of opposites attract. Or that we bring our carefully considered level of cut through to a traditionally conservative category. Anyhoo, it works for us. From a long history with Suncorp to helping out smaller local businesses like SilverChef, we’re very good with money. Check out our case study.
Thank you CQUni, I think we passed with honours
After seven successful years, we have officially ended our business relationship with CQUniversity, though of course we’re still great friends. We now hand the reins over to Brother and Co, and while we’re sorry to say goodbye, we’re happy the account has gone to another independent Brisbane agency (and they’re nice guys too).
During those seven years we grew the CQUni brand year-on-year, transforming them into one of the world’s most exciting young universities. Our last piece of work for them was for the 2020 Open Days which, in a time of Covid, was challenging but as always we adapted and are very proud of the result. NDT enjoyed a true partnership with CQUniversity and know they’ll continue to grow.
It’s kinda like the business circle of life a la The Lion King. As we farewell an old client, we welcome in some exciting new people we’ve already begun doing some great work with.
🐶 Being dog people, our tails were wagging like crazy when we welcomed the RSPCA to NDT.
🏡 You can’t call 174 years old new, but they’re new to us and it’s a privilege to work with the team at historic Newstead House.
Think we could work together on something awesome? Shoot Nick an email or give him a bell on 0438 617 883. He’s always up for a chat!
