Monthly Wrap Up - October 2019
Last month we gave it a red hot crack here at Nick Did This
Just like the rest of Queensland, we’ve been working up a sweat in the agency as summer fast approaches. In October we celebrated Elevate Residential’s 1st birthday, had a bunch of warm welcomes with some new clients, took the road that led to Roma for some retail workshops, helped launch Suncorp’s Future Ready program and spread the word with UnitingCare’s 26,000 Voices survey. Got a hot minute to check it out?
Back to the Future Ready
We were chuffed when our client Suncorp came to us with a great brief to develop a visual identity for the reboot of their internal program, Future Ready. The program is an investment in helping all Suncorp people futureproof their career in this rapidly changing world. It’s a great initiative and one of the many reasons we love working with Suncorp. We’re good and ready to roll out a suite of assets for the program and continue to help Suncorp people grow their strengths and unlock their potential.
We’ve got some new kids on the block
We had the pleasure of welcoming some new faces to the Nick Did This family last month! We’re uber excited to be working with our amazing new clients Tabcorp, Sealy, Totally Smiles and Retail Food Group. We’re cooking up some great work together already so be sure to watch this space.
When in Roma
Last month our junior designer and in-house illustrator Sam went on her very first business trip with Nick to Roma. The guys were out west working with retailers to help with their visual merchandising and marketing. They hosted several workshops where Sam was able to flex her sketch noting muscles (if you haven’t checked out her blog about it already, you can read about it here). It was a jam packed two day adventure filled with business, bottle trees, and a very big rig. Dorothy was right, there’s no place like Roma.
Shout out to UnitingCare
Our client UnitingCare help people across Queensland and the Northern Territory live life in all its fullness. Connecting with people in every corner of our community, from Coomera to Katherine, they gave us the task to develop an organisation wide survey to all 26,000 staff and volunteers. We created the 26,000 Voices survey with the aim to get as many UnitingCarer’s on board to help shape their experience at work. We’re happy to have had a say in creating this campaign and in helping UnitingCare give each and every one of their people a voice.
Elevate Residential turned one!
Last month we were very excited to celebrate the 1st birthday of our partner Elevate Residential. We helped host the event at the glorious Brisbane Powerhouse and it was a night of firsts as this was Nick’s debut MC gig!
It was a full house of friends, supporters and partners who came together to celebrate Elevate’s achievements in the past year and the great work they do in support of affordable housing. We had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed creating this cardboard house equipped with a functioning door and window. All we need now is a good property manager for it!
